Very soon Krasnoyarsk International Airport will be able to boast its brand-new feature to its passengers – special therapy dogs will calm passengers down before the flight.

The airport is launching a pilot project titled Emotional Support Dog, which is quite a unique one for Russia as of 2021.

The tailed 'psychologists' are to provide passengers with emotional support during prolonged wait hours and before the flights themselves. According to experts, the mere appearance of these animals is capable of stabilizing the psychological state of a person, giving him peace of mind.

Such projects are anything but novel at major airports of the world, but it's a first for Russia; hopefully, with more airports to follow suit.​
