When summing up the results of the Games, Roger Roth, FISU Technical Committee Chair, was satisfied with the work done. “The highlights of the competitions have been broadcasted all over the world, and now the city of Krasnoyarsk is one of the greatest winter sports centres of the Russian Federation as well as of the world. We are looking forward to coming here again and witnessing other international sports events. Furthermore, we would like to highlight the fact that this Winter Universiade was one of the best we had in our history and this is owing to the professional approach and knowledge, which were well coordinated between FISU WU Department, CTI and ANO "Directorate Krasnoyarsk 2019".”

Milan Augustin, FISU Winter Universiades Director, thanked all the staff of the Directorate for successful delivery of the Games. “Right now, looking back, we can confidently say that the Winter Universiade 2019 has changed Krasnoyarsk and the Krasnoyarsk Territory significantly. You have done an excellent job hosting one of the best Winter Universiades in history. You have successfully implemented all the objectives. Everyone could see what real winter was and felt at home. The FISU Winter Universiade Department was glad to cooperate with you. We hope that we will return to Krasnoyarsk and witness other international sports events.”

It should be noted that during the 29th Winter Universiade 2019 preparation, the FISU representatives paid Krasnoyarsk numerous inspection visits. The FISU delegates visited all the Winter Universiade 2019 venues, evaluated the work of the Coordination Centre and the main sports venue services, catering services, accreditation, athletes’ accommodation and many other aspects.

The FISU Technical Committee assistance and the FISU specialists' vast experience in international events organisation have become an important contribution to the overall success of the Winter Universiade 2019 in Krasnoyarsk.
