​Krasnoyarsk children become champions of Russia in Robotics Championship.

Results of the national stage of «RoboCup Russia Open 2018» are announced. Young designers from Krasnoyarsk become the best, among them: are pupils of Lyceum № 7 and graduates of the station of young technicians № 2.

Young students become the best in the leagues «OnStage» - "Show with robots" and "Soccer" - "Engineering book". Participants presented a spectacular and technically difficult number "The She Show Must Go on". They designed autonomous robots with a guitar, drum and microphone. Musical instruments move around the stage in a particular trajectory to the beat of the melody. Robots begin to move with help of special sensors. Young participants from Krasnoyarsk left behind 117 teams from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Yekaterinburg, Perm. In June, they are waiting for the competition in Montreal (Canada).

The students of the station of young technicians № 2 presented to participants their project with robots-players. Two electronic athletes, goalkeeper and striker, move around the two-meter field. Robots are programmed for a certain tactic of the game and operate autonomously, human intervention is not required. Robots can drive the ball, pass each other with a special paw. The pass is strong enough, a ball can fly across the hole field. The robotics ball  is different from the traditional ball, because LEDs are built in them , so robotics players can react on them. This is an obligatory condition of the game, otherwise, robotics athletes will be distracted by people passing by or standing nearby objects.
