02.10.2025The official closing ceremony of the Competition took place in the Big Concert Hall of the Krasnoyarsk Philharmonic Society on October 1.

Local classical music enthusiasts celebrated this year's International Music Day by witnessing some the best young violinists from around the world gather for a one-in-a-lifetime performance. Six virtuoso musicians from Russia, Japan, and China reached the finals of this large-scale music competition, having successfully conquered 4 challenging rounds. This year, a total of 24 performers, aged 17 to 31, competed in person for the right to win the main prize from a legend of the Russian school of violin.
The Competition's trademark open auditions became a veritable musical marathon, a unique opportunity to preemptively meet future stars of the musical Olympus, as well as listen to the sound of an authentic Antonio Stradivarius violin from 1716 and other masters of the early 18th and 19th centuries. This new generation of outstanding violinists gives their audience the opportunity to hear classical works in a new, personalized interpretation.
One could keep track of the auditions either by attending live or using online streaming platforms. The Competition was broadcast on MusicToday, China's most popular classical music platform, and Leo Classics, a Russian video platform.
The gala following the ceremony served as a spectacular finale to the celebration of violin art and a moment of triumph for the winners. The musicians performed works from their competition programme: violin concertos by Sibelius and Tchaikovsky, as well as Ysaÿe's violin sonatas. The names of the laureates were announced ceremoniously from the stage of the Big Concert Hall, and Maestro Tretyakov himself presented the well-deserved awards to the winners.
