The exhibition "Taking Snowy Town" will be held  in  Krasnoyarsk  Surikov Art Museum in February. The exhibition will present, perhaps, the most famous work of Krasnoyarsk artist Vasily Ivanovich Surikov  - “Taking a Snowy Town”.

According to  information from the museum, the exhibition will present more than 150 works of painting, drawing and decorative arts from the collections of various museums and galleries, including the State Tretyakov Gallery and  State Russian Museum.
The exhibition includes more than 60 works by Vasily Surikov, as well as works by his contemporaries - Ilya Yefimovich Repin, Konstantin Alekseyevich Korovin, Nicholas Roerich.
Representatives of museum assures that it will be the largest exhibition of works by the famous painter in the entire history of the region. The exhibition was included in the cultural program of the Universiade-2019.
The exhibition will begin on February, 21 and will last until April 28.
