​Representatives of National University Sports Federations Came to Krasnoyarsk

On October 10-13 Krasnoyarsk hosts the meeting between the representatives of National University Sports Federations (NUSFs) applied for the participation in the Winter Universiade 2019. The visit is organized as a part of preparation for the Games and is aimed to attract more countries to participate in the competitions.

About 50 participants representing 24 countries arrived for the Heads of Delegation Meeting. Representatives of NUSFs of the USA, Estonia, Great Britain, France, Japan and other countries will have a chance to visit the Universiade Village, the Dormitory Complex and the recently opened Medical Centre in particular.

The next two days will be devoted to the assessment of the Winter Universiade 2019 sports venues readiness. The guests are to visit Pervomaisky Ice Arena, Yenisei Ice Stadium, Funpark Bobrovy Log All Season Sports and Entertainment Park, Platinum Arena Ice Arena and Crystal Ice Arena.

Moreover, as a part of the visit, the delegates will discuss the quality of services rendering to the Games participants: accommodation and catering, medical care, security provision and transport logistics.

Visiting the host city of the Winter Universiade 2019 will help the NUSFs representatives to get to know the conditions provided within the delivery of the Winter Universiade 2019. Holding such meetings prior the Universiade is a long-standing tradition of FISU. The previous visit of the university sports federations representatives took place in March this year.
