​The VI National Championship "Young Professionals" (WorldSkills Russia) was completed in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.  More than 700 participants, including 152 schoolchildren took part in the competition. The team of  Krasnoyarsk Krai was represented by 20 participants, eight of them received medals of various levels.

According to results, Alexey Gorovoy (Krasnoyarsk Aerospace College) won a gold medal in the "Engineering CAD Design" competency, three silver medals went to  Kristina Kostyleva (Achinsk Oil and Gas Technical School) in the competence "Laboratory Chemical Analysis", Artem Zhuravlev (Krasnoyarsk Construction College) in the competence "Dry construction and plastering works" and Alexey Ostrozhnov (Achinsk College of Transport and Agriculture) in the competence of  "Freight Forwarding".

For the first time in the medal region offset schoolchildren (14-16 years old) together with adults also took part  in the program WorldSkills Russia Juniors in 36 competencies. Juniors brought four medals in the treasury of the national team.

"Our guys successfully performed at the National Championship and again entered the top ten of the strongest teams in Russia, taking the eighth line of the rating. With all my heart I congratulate participants and the winners with this result and express my gratitude to the tutors for the preparation of the contestants", - Acting Minister of Education Svetlana Makovskaya noted.

Let us note, according to the results of the National Championship of WorldSkills Russia, Krasnoyarsk Krai team also took the eighth place in the all-Russian rating among all subjects of the Russian Federation last year.

Winners and prize-winners of the National Championship will join the expanded national team of WorldSkills Russia to represent the country at the international championships. The next are: the European Championships in Budapest (September 2018) and the World Championships in Kazan (August 2019).
