​Japanese rugby players played with Krasnoyarsk teams.

The Kushu Island (Japan) rugby team visited the regional capital on July, 15-21. Japanese athletes played in Krasnoyarsk three matches with the youth teams of «Krasny Yar Rugby Club», «Yenisey-STM Rugby Club» and the national team of Krasnoyarsk Krai.

 

The first game with the left-bank youth Krasnoyarsk team ended 29:20 in favor of Krasnoyarsk, in the second match the juniors from the right bank lost to the guests with a score of 12:26. In the final meeting the team of Krasnoyarsk Krai, which includes players of the «Yenisey-STM Rugby Club» and athletes from «Krasny Yar Rugby Club» played against the Japanese rugby players. This match ended with a victory of the guests - 33: 7.

Summing up the results of games, the Japanese coach Mizuna Takahito said: "We had three productive games. Obviously, that your athletes are  physically well-trained, prepared for good matches and could compete with Japanese rugby players. We came to Russia for the first time. We were welcomed very warmly. Siberian people are good and very open. We noticed, that all Russian men are in good shape, strong guys and girls are beautiful".

It should be noted, that in addition to training and comradely matches, the Japanese delegation will go to extensive cultural program, which includes visiting  of significant sites of Krasnoyarsk.

The visit ended with the third meeting - friendly communication of teams, where they exchanged memorable prizes and expressed hope for the next meetings.
