The Japanese jury pronounced the results of the 48th International Children's Art Exhibition

At the end of October last year more than two hundred young Krasnoyarsk residents took part in the 48th International Children's Art Exhibition. This contest of children's drawings is one of the largest in Japan, has a high international status and has been held since 1970.

The competition was organized by the Japan Art Education Foundation Biiku Bunka Kyokai, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, the National newspaper of Japan The Yomiuri Shimbun, the Japanese Federation of Art Design, the Association of Japanese Art Education and is sposnsored by PENTEL CO ., LTD - a manufacturer of artistic materials and stationery.

More than 100 000 children from 45 countries took part in the competition. 2,000 works by young Russian artists were sent to the exhibition, 131 of them received international awards.

All the awards received by the Russian children were distributed as follows:

The Highest Award is the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Award - 1 work;

Supreme Gold Award - 4 works;

Gold Award - 22 works;

Silver Award - 35 works;

Bronze Award - 46 works;

A special award from Pentel - 41 works.

A special award from Pentel received:

- Davydov Leonid, 6 years old, work "Friendly Family", House of Childhood and Youth № 2 (teacher - Golovanova Lyudmila Viktorovna);

- Batalova Maria, 13 years old, work "As a whole", Secondary School № 143 (teacher - Zvereva Ulyana Sergeevna);

- Gubina Tatiana, 13 years old, work " Ivan Kupala divination", Center for extracurricular activities (teacher - Medvedeva Oksana Gennadievna);

- Lavrenyuk Daria, 7 years old, work "Present", Secondary School № 108 (teacher - Yesipova Elena Leonidovna).

Gold awards were awarded to:

- Rybakova Elena, 10 years old, work "Sibiryachka", Secondary School № 144 (teacher - Chernyshova Irina Leonidovna);

- Koneva Nadezhda, 10 years old, work "The house I live in", Lyceum № 11 (teacher - Zhdanova Natalia Alekseevna);

- Peshkova Eva, 9 years old, work "Yenisei the mighty", Lyceum № 11 (teacher - Zhdanova Natalia Alekseevna).

The highest award - the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Award was awarded to Ryzhkova Rita, 6 years old (the only work from Russia awarded in this nomination), for the work "Hooray! It's snowing!", House of Childhood and Youth № 2, teacher - Golovanova Lyudmila Viktorovna).
