​The cooperation of Krasnoyarsk and the Republic of Belarus will be developing in the sphere of transport.

Mayor of Krasnoyarsk Sergei Eremin held a working meeting with the official delegation of the Republic of Belarus headed by Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Semashko during the KEF'18. The purpose of the visit is developing partnership in the sphere of transport.

Welcoming the guests, Mayor of Krasnoyarsk Sergei Eremin stressed the importance and necessity of expanding international relations with the Republic of Belarus - a strategic partner of Russia: «Despite the distance between us, we are close nations. We strengthen friendly relations and maintain our partnership. In my opinion, we need to expand our cooperation.  We have in our plans a working trip of Krasnoyarsk specialists to the Republic of Belarus to exchange our best practices in the field of improvement and maintenance of urban areas».

Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Semashko thanked Mayor of Krasnoyarsk for the warm welcome and stressed, that the visit of the Krasnoyarsk delegation to Belarus is very important.

"I am very glad that Belarusian buses are used in your city and, as far as I know, you highly appreciate their quality. There are several factories in the Republic of Belarus​ that manufacture passenger transport, communal equipment, elevators»,  -  Vladimir Semashko said.

At the end of the meeting Sergey Eremin asked the heads of the administration ​departments ​to analyze the possibilities of cooperation in their spheres with the Belarusian side.
