A Moldavian National Cultural Center with Trade House is planned to be built in Krasnoyarsk.

Mayor Sergei Eremin held a working meeting with representatives of the Embassy of  Republic of Moldavia in Russia, headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Andrey Negutsa. The purpose of the visit to the capital of the region is a participation in the KEF'18.

"An agreement was signed between the medical universities of Moldovia and Krasnoyarsk  in 2012. From this period we continue to held a student exchange. Along with this, we are considering the possibility to expand trade between the our region and Moldavia. We are also very interested in implementing joint humanitarian projects» - Ambassador addressed to Mayor Sergei Eremin.

It should be noted,  that about 3,000 Moldavians live in Krasnoyarsk    krai. Moldavian National Cultural Community "Vatra" was established 15 years ago in Krasnoyarsk, which regularly holds national  holidays, shares its culture in friendship and accordance with all the nationalities living in the region. So, a festival of Moldavian culture was held last year in Krasnoyarsk, which brought together guests from Sakhalin to St. Petersburg. It is not an accident, that a Moldavian National Cultural Center with a Trade House is planned to be built in Krasnoyarsk. Andrey Negutsa noted , that the opening  an honorary Consulate in Krasnoyarsk  is also in their plans.

«I support such intentions, because this is a step forward to strengthening cooperation between our regions. I expect, that the new space «House of Friendship of  Peoples» will become another format for the wide presentation of the hospitable and friendly multinational family of Krasnoyarsk» ,  - Mayor Sergei Eremin addressed to the Ambassador and wished the delegation successful discussions at the KEF'18 sites.

At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Andrey Negutsa  made a note  in Russian and Moldavian languages in the book of honorable guests of the regional capital, writing in the final: «I wish a big success to all  Krasnoyarsk people!»
