Krasnoyarsk school robotics teams win First Russia Open 2018

On February 15-17, 2018 in the city of Perm within the framework of the program "Robotics: Engineering and Technical Personnel of Innovative Russia" was held the open robotics championship of Russia "First Russia Open 2018" where Krasnoyarsk teams took several first places in different nominations and also became absolute champions.

"First Russia Open 2018" is a competition of robotic teams under international regulations FIRST LEGO League (FLL) and FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) aimed at popularization and development of modern technologies among young people and selection of Russian teams for participation in international competitions FIRST Tech Challenge and FIRST LEGO League. The objective of the championship is to demonstrate the current level of technology development in addressing specific current problems and create additional opportunities for combining the interests and efforts of users, researchers and industry representatives in the field of production of robotics.

The organizers of the championship were Oleg Deripaska's Foundation for Support of Social Innovations "Volnoe Delo", the Ministry of Education and Science of the Perm Krai, Autonomous Non-commercial Organization "Perm Development Center for Robotics".

The tasks of the competitions included the development of robotic systems, the presentation of the Engineering Book, projects and posters of the Basic Values to the expert commission.

Krasnoyarsk Territory was represented by the students of the MAOU "Secondary school №149" Anishchenko Artur, Akhmetkhanov Timur, Protasov Kirill, Fedorov Anton, Shishov Semyon, Yakovlev Ilya, Ismailov Rostislav, Kuptsov Igor, Migitsky Leonid, Ostrovsky Alexey, Prygun Egor, Rusakov Ilya, a student of Krasnoyarsk remedial school №1 Zakharinsky Lev, a student of MAOU "Secondary school №151" Zamolotsky Semyon, a student of MBOU "Gymnasium №8" Kurochkin Ilya, a student of MAOU "Secondary school №145"  Dranishnikov Fyodor.

The team "Siberian Hearts" became an absolute champion, and also took the first place in the overall standings, the second place in the nomination "Game of robots", the first place in the nomination "Project". The team "Robotics Star" became an absolute champion, took the second place in the nomination "Project" and received the "Best robot software" award. The team "WINNERS" won the "Best practical solution" award, the team "Gradient" took the first place in the presentation of the Engineering Book.

The teams "Siberian Hearts" and "Robotics Star" won the trips to the European Championships, the team "Siberian Hearts" got the right to represent Russia at the world championship FIRST in the USA, Detroit, and the teams "WINNERS" and "Future Engineers" will go to the FIRST Robotics Open Asian Championship in China, Shanghai.

The teams were trained for the championship by: the head of the structural unit, the teacher of additional education of MAOU "Secondary school №149" Turushev Maxim, the master's student of the Institute of Pedagogy, Psychology and Sociology of the Siberian Federal University Rudomyotov Nikita, the teacher of MBOU DO "The station of young technicians №2" Baginsky Alexander.
