​Krasnoyarsk Сity Administration and People's Government of Manzhouli (China) signed an agreement on economic cooperation

The official ceremony began with a meeting of the representatives of the delegation of the city of Manzhouli with the Mayor of Krasnoyarsk Sergei Eremin.

"I thank you for your interest to Krasnoyarsk. We highly value our partnership in the field of culture and sports, and it is very important for us to develop cooperation in business, share best practices. Manzhouli is a city of bright lights and illuminations, so it is important for us to hear your expert opinion on the formation of the light image of Krasnoyarsk," Sergei Eremin addressed the delegation.

The First Secretary of Manzhouli City Committee of the Communist Party of China, Mr. Chen, has heard a lot about Krasnoyarsk, and in his opinion, it is the regional capital that can become a strategic partner in the development of cooperation, in particular in the delivery of agricultural products, woodworking, postal and cargo air communication between China and Russia.

"It is very important for us to consolidate our intentions to cooperate by the agreements between our airports, as well as between trade and industrial enterprises of Manzhouli and Krasnoyarsk. We would like to become constant participants of international exhibitions, which are traditionally held in Krasnoyarsk, to exchange best practices in solving the issues of infrastructure development. As for the proposal for expert evaluation in the field of illumination, we will definitely send specialists to consult you about modern technologies of light decoration of city spaces," said Mr. Chen.

After the meeting, the representatives of the Chinese delegation signed agreements on economic cooperation with the representatives of Krasnoyarsk enterprises and organizations. The representatives of the Krasnoyarsk company AHV and the trading company Ilya Fruit from Manzhouli signed a contract for the supply of agricultural products from China to Krasnoyarsk. The protocol of intent was signed between the representatives of the "Ice cream factory Slavica" and the import-export company "Nikitin" of the complex bonded zone of the city of Manzhouli. The general director of the airport "Yemelyanovo" Andrey Metzler and the chairman of the board of the airport "Sijiao" in Manzhouli Mr. Wang signed a memorandum of cooperation.

The final document to be signed was the Agreement on trade and economic, scientific, technical, educational and cultural cooperation between Krasnoyarsk City Administration and People's Government of the city of Manzhouli of the Autonomous Region of Inner Mongolia of the People's Republic of China.

At the end of the meeting, representatives exchanged souvenirs. Colleagues from Manzhouli​ presented a "golden key" - a symbol of open doors and friendly relations. Mayor Sergei Eremin, in turn, presented a picture by a Krasnoyarsk artist Sergei Ivanov "The river station on the Yenisei."
