​A meeting with the official delegation of the Republic of Poland was held in the Krasnoyarsk City administration

Today, on December 4th, Deputy Head of Mayor's Department Vadim Falaleev held a meeting with the official delegation of the Republic of Poland. The delegation consisted of: Consul General of Poland in Irkutsk Krzysztof Sviederek, Minister-Counselor, Head of the Trade and Investment Promotion Department of the Polish Embassy in Moscow Krzysztof Kordas, General Director of OOO "BELLA-Sibir" Grzegorz Sulkowski.

Today, the cooperation of our city with Poland takes place mainly in the spheres of sport and culture. However, the mutual interests cover a much broader sphere. In particular, this concerns the development of economic mutually beneficial ties.

"This year our municipal chorus "Tebe Poyem" won one of the nominations at the International Festival of Church Music, which was held in Poland (Bialystok). We are developing relations in the sphere of sports, but economic ties, let's face it, leave much to be desired. Nevertheless, we are ready for mutually beneficial cooperation. We are very glad to welcome you to the city of Krasnoyarsk," noted Vadim Falaleev.

Consul General of Poland in Irkutsk Krzysztof Sviderek in his turn thanked for the meeting and noted: "We had some time to see the sights of your city. What we saw gives a good impression – an alive and a good city, living at a certain pace, with a good mood and with excellent preparation for the Universiade 2019. I express my great gratitude for the opportunity to exchange opinions. This is my first visit as the Consul General to Krasnoyarsk. I want to learn as much as possible about the city and the region, its sights, the areas in which it would be possible to cooperate and develop our relations." Mr. Sviderek particularly noted that Poland has modern infrastructure projects in the field of housing and communal services, which can become a new direction of cooperation.

As for current cooperation - there is an agreement about the participation of the famous Polish orchestra "Baltic neopolis" in the International Festival of Chamber-orchestral Music "Asia-Siberia-Europe" in 2018.
