​The exsibition dedicated to the fight with the German army in Siberia during the Great Patriotic War will be held  in  «A.M. Gorky Library»,  25th of August.

Fight in Dixon is the only battle in the territory of Krasnoyarsk region during the Great Patriotic War. The island is the unique place, further which the Great Patriotic War did not pass.

Krasnoyarsk librarians gathered exclusive materials, which demonstrate guests the island, life of citizens of Dixon during the war and the life of island today. 

Residents will know, from which ship was held a defense during the war. Guests will see unique books and the ship's bell, which become a silent witness of the only battle with the German army in the territory of Siberia.

Fhotos from personal collection of Krasnoyarsk photographer Vitaliy Ivanov will demonsrate life in Dixon today. «Movie House» will also show a documental movie dedicated to the celebration of the 75th anniversary of Dixon’s defense.
