The third competitive day provided the Russian Team with 8 more medals of different values. There are 25 medals in the collection of our team now: 4 gold, 8 silver and 13 bronze. The Koreans gain the lead in overall standings, Japan team is in the second place and the hosts of the tournament are in the third place.

The competition day provided the Russian team with another gold medal. Boris Krasnov showed the best result among men in the taekwondo tournament in the category of up to 68 kilograms. Our athlete celebrated the win over the Azerbaijanian Aikhan Tagizade in the finals.

Weightlifters also competed for award sets. The second result was shown by two representatives of the Russian team: Vyacheslav Yarkin in the category of up to 77 kg and Tim Turiev in the category of up to 63 kg. The medal of Maria Kameneva in 100-meters freestyle swimming was the third silver medal on this day.

Another 4 bronze medals went to the collection of the Russian team with the efforts of the taekwondo athlete Anisiya Chelokhsaeva (category of up to 57 kg), judoist Abdul Abdulzhalilov (category of up to 66 kg), Mikhail Vekovischev in 200-meters freestyle swimming and Arina Openysheva in 100-meters freestyle swimming. Note that this award was the second for the athlete from Zelenogorsk at the Games in Taipei.
