​Residents and guests of Krasnoyarsk will be able to visit the North Caucasus and get acquainted with the culture and way of life of  Ossetian people.

“Days of Republic of North Ossetia - Alania in Krasnoyarsk city” will be held in for the first time in Tatyshev Island, 22-23 of July. Organizers of this event promise to create a national atmosphere of Ossetia. So, residents who have never been in North Caucasus but always dreamed should visit this event.

The opening of the museum and exhibition complex will be conducted in first day in the eastern part of the island, where all guests will be able to see the national Ossetian costume and get acquainted with sculpture and art.

Chairman of the Association of People of the South of Russia, representative of  organizers  Vladimir Guriev: “The idea of “Days of Republic of North Ossetia - Alania in Krasnoyarsk city” belongs to  Mayor of Krasnoyarsk Edkham Akbulatov. As a result, we decided to hold a big event, in order to show the culture of the Ossetian people at a distance of 5000 km. Four museums will demonstrate their exhibits during the “Days of Republic of North Ossetia - Alania in Krasnoyarsk city”. Sculpture, paintings, modern art, world-class jewelry will be presented on this event.  Needlework and the creation of national dolls master-classes for children will be conducted.  Ossetian  cuisine will be also presented . Viewers can watch the process of making different national dishes, including popular Ossetian pays.“

Feature films, as well as documentary films about outstanding conductors of North Ossetia  will be displayed on the big screen of the main stage.

A concert, where soloist of the Perm Opera and Ballet Theater Zarina Abaeva will perform, variety show, ensemble of folk dance "Little Djigit", popular dancer and actor of cinema and theater Alan Kokaev, the only in the world a  girl – conductor  will become the brightest moments of this event.

Deputy of the Head of Mayor's Department Denis Antonov said: “The preparation and realization “Days of Republic of North Ossetia - Alania in Krasnoyarsk city” is a part of the work, that city administration held  in collaboration with national-cultural communities in the territory of the city, realizing the policy in the sphere of interethnic relations. The creation of conditions which allow citizens to get acquainted with traditions and  join  the culture is one of the crucial part of this policy. As the result, Tatyshev Island become the wonderful place for holding  national and international events. Days of Republic of North Caucasus take its place in the train of national holidays. This holiday is welcome for all citizens next weekend. Every person who visit this event will plunge in the colorful and unique atmosphere of  North Caucasus.”
