​Anna Tsyganova became a silver medalist of the IFSC Climbing European Championships

The IFSC Climbing European Championships Lead and Speed has recently been held in Italy. In the "lead" discipline, the first five places were taken by the representatives of Russia: Julia Kaplina, Anna Tsyganova, Elena Remizova, Maria Krasavina and Elena Timofeeva.

In the final race took part Anna Tsyganova, from the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Julia Kaplina from the Tyumen Region. Only 2.31 seconds separated Anna from the first place. The third was Elena Remizova from the Perm Region, for whom this performance was the best in her career.

It is the third time in the history of the IFSC Climbing European Championships Lead and Speed that the whole podium in women's competition has been taken by the representatives of one country, and this has once more been achieved by Russian athletes. For the first time this happened at the 2004 tournament in Lecco.

The European Bouldering Championship-2017 will be held on August 18 and 19 in Munich. It is according to the results of the German tournament that the best in the multidiscipline competition will be determined.
