An official meeting with the delegation of the Committee on Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in Pyongyang City

In the Administration of the city of Krasnoyarsk took place an official meeting of the Deputy Head of the Mayor's Department Vadim Falaleev with the delegation of the Committee on Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in Pyongyang City.

The main purpose of the guests' visit is to hold an exhibition of works by North Korean artists. The event is timed to the 6th Anniversary of the visit of the former North Korean leader Kim Jong Il to Siberia and the Far East in 2011.

The Director of the Exhibition Organization Department of the Committee on Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Mr. Om Son Guk said: "The cooperation between Krasnoyarsk and Pyongyang has now lasted for more than ten years. It is a short period for history, of course, but for the relations of our cities this is a fairly long period. We are grateful to the Administration of Krasnoyarsk for the warm and considerate attitude to our city and express the hope for further fruitful cooperation."

Deputy Head of the Mayor's Department Vadim Falaleev thanked the delegation for the already traditional exhibition of Far Eastern artists and expressed the hope that the projects of further cooperation between Krasnoyarsk and Pyongyang will follow. "Exhibitions of North Korean artists have already become a good tradition and are regularly held in Krasnoyarsk. We hope that North Korea will also open its doors to our artists and they will be able to present their works in the exhibition halls of the capital of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea," said Vadim Falaleev.
