​«Japanese movies Festival » took place in Dom kino, 6-12 of March.

Japanese movies presented to the viewers will demonstrate popular cultural principals: «Mono no aware» means the an empathy toward things and «Wabi-sabi» means a modest simplicity.

«Characters and sets of mind of Japanese are truly presented in these movies. Viewer has a possibility to plunge into the life and routine of the residents of the Japanese archipelago and touch our culture. All movies are created by Japanese directors and widely open a national  originality. We show ourselves  just the way we are in the reality», said head teacher of the SFU Centre for Japanese Language and Culture,  Yamato Seo.

Programme  includes 4 films:  Hankyu Railway ― «A 15-minute Miracle», «From Me to You», «Villons wife» , «Always – Sunset on Third Street-3»  and one anime-movie « Children Who Chase Lost Voices from Deep Below».

Different themes are presented in films. Organizers are sure that every person will find something special for him: dramas, comedies, love stories and films about life choice, family films and Japanese cartoons.

The entrance is free. All films are presented on the Japanese language with Russian subtitles.

Origami,  calligraphy and tea ceremony master classes will take place in Cinema House 8,11,12 of March during the Festival.

This Festival will be the third for our city. Embassy of Japan in Russia  become the sponsor of this Festival. SFU Centre for Japanese Language and Culture is an organizer of the Festival with the support of Krasnoyarsk city administration and Krasnoyarsk region Development of the Cooperation with Japan Association .
