From November 10 to 11, under this exact motto, the VI International Academic and Research Conference took place at Novosibirsk State Technical University, in which the chief specialist of the International Affairs Division of the Mayor's Department Victoria Shaposhnikova took part.

— Despite the covid-19 restrictions and various obstacles to our interaction with Chinese sister cities, cooperation has not stopped, new directions and formats for holding events have appeared in such areas as culture, sports, science, education and many others. Our city is open for cooperation with China, and we see confirmation of this in the latest results of the implementation of cooperation agreements by sister cities of Krasnoyarsk.

The conference was organized by the Confucius Institute and the Department of International Relations and Regional Studies of Novosibirsk State Technical University, the Institute of China and Modern Asia of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Department of International Relations of the Administration of the Governor of and the Government of the Novosibirsk Region, Dalian University of Foreign Languages.

— The conference will highlight the main vectors, points of growth, and give an additional impetus to relations not only of the Eurasian continent, but also of the world as a whole, -  Kirill Babaev, Doctor of Philology, acting director of the Institute of China and Modern Asia of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow.

During the two days of the conference, participants from Russia and China discussed the main areas of Russian-Chinese cooperation in the context of the search for resources and tools to achieve global sustainability.
