The first Creative Industries School opened in Krasnoyarsk on the basis of the Surikov Technical School. 92 students, aged 14 to 18, have already started classes. 80 students will study free, all the expenses will be covered by the regional budget.

The students will learn creative skills in four areas: animation and 3D graphics, design, photo and video production, Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies.


The institution offers film production equipment, teleprompters, 3D printers, 3D scanners, cameras, quadrocopters and professional software to design and produce creative products. The teachers are successful practitioners in the field of creative industries.

The training will last two years. During the first year students get acquainted with all areas. During the second one they immerse in one of them and get certain qualification. Graduates will receive a standard certificate and a creative portfolio in the industry where they plan to work in future.

This new Creative Industries School is of great importance in today's art education. We focus on the professions of the future. This school will give our students one more opportunity to realize their creative potential.

Creative industries schools are being opened in Russia under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. In Krasnoyarsk, the project is being implemented by the Ministry of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk Region with the support of the Governor and the regional government.
