The main concept of this year's holiday is the format of the city experiences route, the slogan of which is "Discover YOUR Krasnoyarsk". 

The festivities dedicated to the 394th anniversary of the founding of Krasnoyarsk are set to start at the end of this week already. Concerts, sporting events and official ceremonies are planned for the residents to enjoy. A special gift for the townspeople will be fireworks and the performance of a retro Russian pop group.

— In 2020 and 2021, we celebrated the birthday of Krasnoyarsk in rather downsized formats, limiting ourselves to urban space design and local events, mainly in online format. This year, we are returning to the traditional, favorite formats for celebrating the City Day: we are going out to public spaces, returning to large concert venues, mass and entertainment events, sports and youth formats, — said Yulia Gafarova, Head of the Project Management Department of the Mayor's Department.

The citizens of Krasnoyarsk will be able to congratulate the city on its birthday by dancing. All those creative, loving and able to dance people are invited to participate in a celebratory video. The movements, however, need to be learned in advance. The filming will take place on Sunday. The initiator of the dance event was the modern dance studio "Expression" - one of the participants in the city project "In the Centre of MIRA".​
