Krasnoyarsk Region will be hosting the VI regional championship in professional skills among people with different disabilities "Abilympics" from April 19 to 21.
More than 700 competitors aged 14 to 65 years from 51 municipalities of the Region will take part in the championship. The best pupils, students and specialists will show their skills in 80 competencies - that is, various professions - and will perform professional tasks in real time. They will be evaluated by representatives of educational organisations, employers and public associations.
Guests of the championship will also be able to take part in the work of the business programme: issues of the educational field transformation, inclusive practices for the disabled and people with health limitations, organizing individual approach to support for them at all stages of professional and personal development will be discussed there. The business programme will be held both online and offline.
The Abilympics championship will host a series of entertaining workshops and trainings for participants and guests, where one will have the opportunity to learn neat skills to use in day-to-day life: learn how to do hairstyles, make gift sets with your own hands, or even try yourself as a cheese maker or confectioner.
The opening of the championship will take place on April 19, and the closing ceremony is set for April 21. The team of winners in each competency will represent the Krasnoyarsk Region in Moscow in August.
