8 large families from different parts of the city became the winners of the competition "Family - the soul and energy of Krasnoyarsk!" One of the most important criteria for evaluating the contestants was their contribution to the public life of the city, such as support for social and volunteer projects, implementation of initiatives for the improvement of public spaces, participation in municipal and regional events.

Memorabilia diplomas, symbolic statuettes, cash prizes, flowers and unique Christmas toys specially prepared for the winners at the Biryusinka toy factory were presented to the winners of the competition by Mayor Sergei Eremin and Chairman of the Krasnoyarsk City Council Natalia Firyulina.

«From my own experience, I understand very well that a large family is like a separate city with its own holidays, traditions, joys and experiences. Sometimes it seems that we have so many common affairs and interests that there is no need to go beyond our cozy world at all. Therefore, all families that find the time and energy not only to take care of each other, but also to social projects, to improve the social environment of their city Krasnoyarsk, are real city heroes for me! The competition for the annual award of the Mayor of the city was hosted for the first time this 2021. The main prize of the competition is 100 thousand rubles for the implementation of new family ideas.

19 families from all districts of the city applied for the award of the Mayor of the city. The composition of the competition commission for the selection of the winners included specialists from the city administration, deputies of the City Council and representatives of public organizations.
