The 2022 Men's Volleyball World Championship to be held in Russia from August 26 to September 11 has started ticket sales. The matches will be hosted by 10 Russian cities: Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Kemerovo, Krasnoyarsk, Moscow, Novosibirsk, St. Petersburg, Ufa and Yaroslavl. 24 national teams will take part in the Championship.

Those interested are welcome to buy tickets via the official website tickets.volley.ru. Here you can choose individual tickets (attending just one match); a one-day ticket (Day Pass), which involves attending two matches a day in one arena; a ticket to a specific arena (City Pass), which gives the right to attend all matches in one city; and a Follow The Team Pass for fans of a specific team. For children under 2 years old (born after August 1, 2020) admission is free without a separate seat.

In Krasnoyarsk, the matches of the first group stage will be held from 27 to 29 August 2022. The Sports Palace named after Ivan Yarygin, chosen as the venue for the tournament, will become a place of meeting for the national teams of Argentina, Iran, the Netherlands and Egypt, which will play 6 games among themselves. The cost of tickets depends on the category of seats chosen: tickets for individual matches in Krasnoyarsk will cost fans from 400 to 1,500 rubles; a subscription for 2 games provided by the 1-day-programme – anywhere from 720 to 2700 rubles; a season ticket for all the matches taking place in our city will cost from 2040 to 6120 rubles.

Tickets for the World Championship are sold in stages. Currently, due to the epidemiological situation, tickets are available for purchase without a specific seat assigned: the buyer will only be able to choose the category of the ticket. At the second stage, which is scheduled to start in the spring of 2022, spectators who have bought tickets without assigned seats will be sent information on the seats allocated to them in the stands. Seats will be allocated automatically; if possible, all tickets in one order will be assigned adjacent seats.

It is planned to start selling tickets indicating certain places at the sports facility 2 months before the start of the tournament. Sales at the box offices of sports facilities start no later than 2 weeks before the start of the Championship.
