The exhibition presents a series of landscapes by traditional artists from Krasnoyarsk and Mongolia depicting the sheer vastness and unique palette of Mongolian deserts and mountain ranges. In addition, the exhibition presents dolls in traditional clothing, souvenirs and religious relics. An important component of the exhibition is books and documents in Russian devoted to natural features, life and customs of the population, political ties and the economy of Mongolia. Among the editions are both rare pre-revolutionary and modern books.

Over a century of cooperation, progress has been made in the field of urban planning, industry, health care and education. It should be noted that, in addition to the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and Mongolia, this year Krasnoyarsk marks an equally important date – the eighteenth anniversary of twinning with the capital of Mongolia, the city of Ulan Bator. In 2003, an Agreement was signed between the Krasnoyarsk City Administration and the Mayor's Office of Ulan Bator on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation.
