Last weekend was the final for the project «In the Centre of Mira» this season. For two days, the avenue was a point of attraction for the townspeople and guests of Krasnoyarsk. Dozens of locations, concerts, sports competitions, multimedia shows – something for everyone could be found, if need be.

20 food trucks offered street food and refreshments to Krasnoyarsk residents once again. During the first food truck festival, Krasnoyarsk residents said that there was apparently not enough food offered. This time, the entrepreneurs made sure almost every food truck had plenty of sandwiches, pancakes and waffles.

The site in front of the Andrei Pozdeev monument was turned into a small Asian oasis. On Saturday, China reigned here: quizzes, as well as workshops in calligraphy and origami were held. In the photo zone, you could take a photo with a costumed Chinese noble. Everyone could participate in a tea ceremony or attempt a Chinese dance. The climax of the show was the appearance of Chinese dragons and the dance of lions.

On Saturday, the roadway of the avenue turned into a large art workshop. The artists turned their attention to the building of the Detsky Mir central shop building. It was also possible to learn how to paint flowers using various techniques.

A sports venue was organised nearby, as well as an inflatable football field and a platform for darts. It has become a place of attraction for children.

On Sunday, the culture of Japan and Korea was introduced to the Krasnoyarsk people. One could take part in workshops in calligraphy and even learn the basics of the Korean language.

The highlight of this weekend was the Magic Forest multimedia project. Each tree of Pushkin square was highlighted. Images of animals and birds were projected onto the branches.

The project ended with an informal award ceremony for the main project participants. Certificates and an In the Centre of Mira statuettes were received by restaurateurs and everyone who helped create a festive atmosphere on the avenue from the hands of the mayor Sergei Eremin .

The Mayor thanked all Krasnoyarsk residents who became the real producers of the project.

— Our Mira Avenue is the historical "DNA" of Krasnoyarsk and has become its soul this summer! And it happened thanks to all of you, Krasnoyarsk people! For me personally, the project "In the Centre of Mira" is a whole philosophy of urban development, an indicator of the maturity of our Krasnoyarsk family, when together we are ready to do new things and to be included in the life of the city for one hundred percent. Now there is a new coordinate point on the map of Krasnoyarsk. I am sure that thanks to all of us the project will continue its history! So see you again in our centre of the World!
