Mayor of Krasnoyarsk Sergei Eremin announced the return of the city historic centre pedestrianisation project "In the Centre of Mira" on his Instagram page. The project will be launched again this Saturday, August 28th.

— According to experts, the current situation with the coronavirus allows for the revitalisation of the project. The number of the vaccinated in Krasnoyarsk is growing, some of the covid hospitals have completed their work. But the health of Krasnoyarsk residents remains our main focus. Therefore, I ask you not to forget to maintain a social distance, sanitise your hands and try to wear a mask even when outside. 

In the Centre of Mira is scheduled for completion in mid-September.

On July 15, the project was suspended due to the aggravation of the epidemiological situation in Krasnoyarsk. In July, the average daily number of people infected with covid in the region increased from just 100 to 450.
