​On the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the Soviet people's victory in the Great Patriotic War and the end of World War II Diplomatic representatives of Consulates, whose consular district includes the Krasnoyarsk Region, laid flowers at the Eternal Flame memorial in Krasnoyarsk.

The commemoration ceremony took place as part of the events dedicated to Diplomatic Worker's Day. It was attended by Consuls General of Mongolia in Kyzyl and Irkutsk, Mr Chimid Ganbold and Mr Zhigmed Enkhzhargal; Consul of the Republic of Korea in Irkutsk Mr Shin Kyu Ho; Permanent Deputy Consul General of Germany in Novosibirsk Ms Katrin Ebeling; Head of Chancery in the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Russia in Krasnoyarsk Turgunbek Doronbekhov; acting Representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry in Krasnoyarsk Artem Zakharov; representatives of the Administration of the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Region and the Krasnoyarsk City Administration. 

On February 11, within the framework of the official visit, Permanent Deputy Consul General of Germany in Novosibirsk Ms Ebeling visited the Krasnoyarsk Gymnasium №6 so as to support and take part in a DSD diploma ceremony held for local students.

There, the honoured guest was showcased a presentation about Krasnoyarsk, its history, its potential and outstanding personalities. Setting a warm atmosphere, distinguished attendees discussed numerous potential projects and ways of cooperation, like, for example, the German Culture Days planned for September 2021. Furthermore, a round table event was held at Siberian Federal University with the participation of Ms Ebeling and representatives of the international department of SibFU, the Centre of German Studies, as well as institutions that have contacts with German universities, setting up new possibilities for German-Krasnoyarsk relationship.
