​​​February 4 was marked by the opening ceremony of the Russian Junior Figure Skating Championships in Krasnoyarsk,  taking place after the junior men short programme performances on the Crystal Arena ice.

«The long-awaited moment, for which we have been preparing for many months, has finally arrived today, – said Sergei Ladyzhenko, General Director of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation. – Athletes entered the fight for medals: the first performances have already been given. We can clearly see great interest from the spectators, for the number of fans in the stands is growing exponentially.» 

The ceremony opened with the performances of the Krasnoyarsk synchronized skating teams and the solo performance of the two-time world junior figure skating champion, multiple prize-winner of European and World Championships Elena Radionova
