​Krasnoyarsk athletes once again make a good name for their homeland, achieving  victories in competitions on an all-Russian and international level.

Lyubov Nikitina won bronze in aerial skiing at one of the stages of the Freestyle World Cup in Yaroslavl. In the final attempt, the Winter Sports Academy athlete was second only to Laura Peel of Australia and Ashley Caldwell of the USA.

Meanwhile, Kirill Sysoev won the II stage of the Russian Freestyle Cup in Chusovoy (Perm Region). In the ski cross discipline Sysoev was ahead of Andrey Gerasimov from St. Petersburg and Artem Kazhin from Bashkortostan.

The Russian Junior Freestyle Championships' slopestyle stage ended this week in Miass (Chelyabinsk Region). Krasnoyarsk juniors brought home two awards,  as silver medals went to the athletes Artyom Dulov and Alina Brezgina.

Krasnoyarsk bobsledders Vladislav Zharovtsev and Nikolai Kozlov became silver medalists of the European Cup stage, which was held in Innsbruck, Austria. Athletes who performed in four lost only to Philip Zilasko's crew (Germany) during the second start.

Krasnoyarsk skeleton racers Alexander Tretyakov and Yulia Kanakina became prize-winners of the Intercontinental Cup stage, taking place in Altenberg, Germany. Tretyakov came second on the sum of two races, losing only to 'the owner of the track' Axel Jung, whereas Kanakina took the bronze medal, losing to Elena Nikitina (Russia) and Sophia Graibel (Germany).
