​A quay in the western part of Tatyshev Island will be the first of six for mooring small vessels within Krasnoyarsk. The creation of such docks in the water areas of the city is one of the tasks set by the regional Governor Alexander Uss.

The improvement of the coastline on behalf of the Krasnoyarsk city Mayor Sergei Eremin will be carried out in a comprehensive manner. The contractor must create a public space along the Yenisei embankment, which doesn't only include installing a pontoon quay, but also establishing alleyways, providing lighting for the territory and constructing children's playground areas. Special attention will be paid to the accessibility of the territory for people with limited mobility.

«Within the framework of this project, we tried to approach the creation of public spaces as delicately as possible, preserving the natural landscape, but at the same time taking into account the needs of the citizens. Respect for the unique natural environment of the island is the main principle behind our work. To improve the general condition of trees and their aesthetic properties, sanitary pruning is now being carried out,» – says Vladimir Lebedev, Acting Head of the Main Directorate of Youth Policy and Tourism.
