Before shipment, the ice cream was inspected by experts and found to be in compliance with veterinary and sanitary requirements.

The ice cream was placed in a disinfected specialized vehicle to ensure compliance with the temperature regime provided for the transportation of this type of product.

The export was carried out through the international checkpoint «Kyakhta» (Republic of Buryatia).

In total, about 35.8 tons of ice cream were exported from the Krasnoyarsk Region to Mongolia in 2020 under the control of the Rosselkhoznadzor Office.

In the summer and autumn Mongolia reported several deaths as a result of infection with bubonic plague. Rospotrebnadzor assured that isolated cases of plague infection in Mongolia do not pose an epidemiological threat for Russia.
