​On July 3 starts the largest animation festival in Russia, and this year the whole world can join the event along with Krasnoyarsk and the region.

The Big Cartoon Festival (BFM) will be held in an online format for the first time due to the current epidemiological situation. The organisers prepared a lot of video conferences with famous directors and artists, lectures by leading experts in the animation industry and master classes on various animation techniques at the Cartoon Factory. The program is scheduled from July 3 to 12.

The central focus of the programme are the usual: premieres of Russian cartoons of the last year, collections of foreign laureates of international festivals and film awards.

 Famous Russian and foreign directors, animators and producers, creators of iconic TV shows and super-successful full-length cartoons, experimenters and winners of renowned world festivals will be guests of the BFM-2020 online. Meetings will be held in the format of zoom conferences. One of these meetings to be conducted by the Estonian director of the movies ‘Life with Herman H. Rott’, ‘Manivald’, ‘Toomas Beneath The Valley Of The Wild Wolves’ Chintis Lundgren on July 3 at 16:00 (Moscow time). Participants of the festival will be able to ask their questions in the chat.
