The grand finale of the whole festival will be the closing day, as the combined choirs of the city, together with the Krasnoyarsk Symphony Orchestra, will perform Sergei Prokofiev’s On Guard for Peace oratorio, as well as a suite of songs from the times of war and peace. The works were not chosen by chance: the 24th Cappellas will be dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, and in each concert, works dedicated to the themes of the Year of Memory and Glory will be performed.
