On March 4, Robbie Andison and Jordan Kober from the Canadian national team, arriving in our city to fight for the awards of prestigious international competitions, became honourable guests visiting gymnasium No. 10. During the classes, 7-8-graders learn the history of freestyle skiing, the features of its various disciplines, take a virtual tour of the Sopka cluster, which was built in our city specifically for the XXIX Winter Universiade 2019.

The school kids also participate in a comprehensive relay race, where tasks mimic the basic and special movements of a freestyle athlete, and also take quizzes dedicated to the topic. In addition, the children learn sports terminology and create greeting cards in English for athletes participating in the freestyle World Cup stages as homework.
