«Misanthrope» is based on both the play of the same name by the French playwright Jean-Baptiste Poquelin (Molière) and the real stories of Krasnoyarsk people, which were recorded for six months and specifically selected by our playwright. It’s counterparts of the characters from the play, written almost 4 centuries ago, and fantasies on how they might have looked like in our time in our city», — the team’s Instagram page informs.

Moscow artist Lina Dikova and Omsk playwright Ekaterina Sverdlova are involved in the play’s production along with the «Misanthrope» main director Kseniya Peschik.

The play is the winner of the Mikhail Prokhorov Fund contest «New Theatre».
