​On the ice of the Krasnoyarsk Platinum Arena, the competitive part of the Russian Figure Skating Championship has ended.

On Saturday, absolute winners and prize-winners in pair skating were determined, as well as victors among women. The champions of the country in pairs were Alexandra Boykova and Dmitri Kozlovsky from St. Petersburg. They scored 233.66 points in total for both free and short programme and got ahead of a pair of Evgenia Tarasova – Vladimir Morozov by only 0.5 points. Bronze medals were given to Daria Pavlyuchenko and Denis Khodykin.

The competition among women was won by Anna Shcherbakova, who was losing to Alena Kostornaya after a short programme stage. During the free programme, however, the athlete performed two quadruple lutz and a quadruple flip, which brought her to the first place in the finale. Two falls of Alexandra Trusova prevented her from rising to a place higher than the third.
