More than 300 children with special needs were transferred to the era of medieval balls in the grand hall of the Grand Hall Siberia. The atmosphere was encouraged by the dress code of the event as well: dress coats, evening dresses and masks, all that. Guests danced polonaise, polka and waltz with professional choreographers, and the evening was brightened with live music and shows from the Adastra studio and the inclusive dance theatre Freedom.

«Our team hosts New Year's events for young people with disabilities annually. Using the experience of past years, a new format, a beautiful venue and support for partners, this year's event was of the most ambitious, and, what’s most important, truly inclusive. The mission of our event is the formation of an inclusive culture, blurring the boundaries between people with and without disabilities, creating a platform for equal communication in a festive atmosphere,» – informed Tatyana Khegay, the organiser of the event.

Some other entertainment platforms included face painting and photo zones, sand animation, locations from the Galileo Wonder Park, creative workshops, contests and even an interactive photo mirror. The culmination of the event was a real magician trick show and the traditional vote for the King and Queen of the ball.

«I have long dreamed of getting invited to such an event, but there was no way. I still have the warmest and most joyous memories of the ball. Everything was like a fairy tale: we chose a dress, jewelry, a hairstyle. The dance master class from the Atmosphere professional team stuck with me the most», – said Evgenia, the ball’s guest.
