Annually, art-crews decorate the city electric vehicles for the New Year. This year, for the first time, trolleybus and tram depot specialists designed the cabs in the style of children's New Year’s tales.

For instance, the motives of the famous fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen «The Snow Queen» were used in the design of the trolley bus. From the outside, the cab is decorated with LED strip, and on the inside, on the glass and side panels, vivid illustrations of a fabulous fairytale scenes are depicted.

The video screens located in the salon show the 1957 Soviet cartoon «Snow Queen». Specialists of the trolleybus park explain the choice of thematic design simply: the main character of the tale also travelled in an environmentally friendly form of transport.

«The Snow Queen» is everyone’s favorite New Year’s fairy tale, and we specifically chose this unusual approach to decorate the trolley bus. Three times I saw the cab at the time of registration, and each time something new appeared on it. I’m sure the passengers will enjoy it and I hope that they will be careful towards the festive interior,» – said Ruslan Kryuchkov, the driver of the trolley bus.

On the right bank of the city, a tram decorated with the scenes from the cartoon «Three from Prostokvashino» based on the «Uncle Fedor, the Dog and the Cat» novel by Eduard Uspensky brings joy to the city residents. The external perimeter of the car is also decorated with colored LED strips, and in the cabin there are New Year's garlands and stickers with some of our favorite characters.

On a trip from one to the other end of the line, one has the opportunity to watch the entirety of the Soviet cartoons: «Three from Prostokvashino», «Vacation to Prostokvashino» and «Winter in Prostokvashino».
