Within the framework of the XIII Winter Surikov Art Festival, which will be taking place in Krasnoyarsk until January 24, 2020, the audiovisual project «Surikov_online» has opened in the Cultural Centre on Vysotnaya st.

The project is a virtual tour, the exhibits of which are nature itself and the atmosphere surrounding the great artist.

On a computer screen, the guests choose the sections on their own be it «Childhood and adolescence», «Cossack Buzim and merchant Krasnoyarsk», «The birth of the artist», «Return to the origins», «Surikov through the eyes of relatives and contemporaries» or «Both Razin and Ermak», put on headphones and immerse themselves in an era and mood. The texts, created on the basis of Maximilian Voloshin’s book «Surikov» and on the memoirs of contemporaries, are read by actors.

Everyone can get acquainted with the life and work of the famous Krasnoyarsk artist Vasily Surikov daily and free of charge from December 25, 2019 to January 31, 2020 from 9.00 to 22.00.
