— In recent years, the Yakut cinema is experiencing a real boom. For more than twenty years creators in Yakutia have been making their own films with their own stars, traditions, language, culture and for their own audience. The success of the Yakut cinema within the country borders and beyond them is rightly called the «phenomenon of the Yakut cinema»
