The All-Russian Medical Contest was summed up on the Day of the Medical Worker in Moscow. 18 Applicants from the Krasnoyarsk Territory  participated in it, four specialists won prizes.

In 2019, the All-Russian Medical Contest received 596 works in 29 nominations. The competition was held in three stages, including regional, where the work of the participants was assessed by the jury of the regional Ministry of Health.

After the final vote, Olga Tsimbalova, a doctor of the Krasnoyarsk City Children's Polyclinic № 2 was awarded the first place in the nomination "Best Pediatrician".

There are two more third places on account of our doctors. Igor Garkavenko received the award in the nomination "Best ophthalmologist". Pavel Zhegalov - head of department, endoscopist of the regional clinical hospital became the first In the nomination "Best Surgeon".

The winners of the All-Russian competition will receive a cash incentive of 200 thousand rubles for the third place, 300 thousand rubles for the second place and 500 thousand rubles for the first place. The award ceremony will be held in Moscow this fall.

Let us note, the All-Russian Medical Contest started in 2000 with the support of the Ministry of Health of Russia. Representatives of regional health care institutions regularly become laureates and winners, so in 2018 they recognized six physicians from the Krasnoyarsk Territory, in 2017 - three, and in 2016 - five.
