Meeting of Deputy Head of Mayor's Department Vadim Falaleev and PhD and researcher of international relations of Siberia Rafael Contreras Luna (Mexico) was held on June, 17, 2019 in Krasnoyarsk city administration.

Mr. Luna was interested in the role of Krasnoyarsk in expanding cooperation with the cities of the countries of Northeast Asia and its sister city relations in the region as a form of popular diplomacy.

Mr. Luna collects material for scientific articles and also prepares information for popular publications about Krasnoyarsk, its attractiveness for foreign investors and the business climate in the city.

Falaleev V.A. said that Krasnoyarsk, as the center of Eurasia, is an attractive place for partners from both the European and Asian parts of the continent. Major international projects were discussed in detail, the organizer and active participant of which is our city. The parties also spoke about the history of the formation of international relations of Krasnoyarsk, the current state of integration of the city into the world community and the prospects for expanding such cooperation.

Mr. Luna spoke about his impressions about Krasnoyarsk, its inhabitants, the natural landscape. He believes, that the good geographical position of the city and the efforts undertaken by the Krasnoyarsk authorities create excellent prerequisites for the entering of Krasnoyarsk  to the top of the most famous and attractive world centers.
