The main events of the City Day will be held on June 8. On this day the Tatyshev Island will host a grand Festival of Impressions "Krasnoyarsk - the Soul and Energy of Siberia." More than 250 locations will work for Krasnoyarsk residents and city guests, covering various topics - culture, youth, sports, family and children. Sports competitions, master classes and shows, creative arts venues, orchestra performances, concerts, a street cinema festival and dozens of welcoming outdoor restaurants of the RestoDay Festival will be offered to Krasnoyarsk residents and city guests.

 

The best creative teams of the city, the Krasnoyarsk Brass Band and the headliner, the Rockfellers rock group, will perform on the island’s west side stage (by the Cable Bridge).

 

Children's and puppet theater plays, theatrical performances, prose and poetry readings, performances of young musicians of the city and, of course, Krasnoyarsk Chamber Orchestra concert will be the treats of the "Synthesis of Music and Theater" venue.

 

"Kids Playground" venue will work for the youngest residents of the city. There will be a large gaming space with fun and interactive games and dancing.

 

At the venue called "Urban Art Plein Air" everyone will have a chance and try the role of an artist and draw their own Krasnoyarsk.

 

The city’s libraries will present two interactive sites. There will be master classes, lectures, poets’ competitions, you’ll also have a chance to test your skills in the literature "mafia" game.

 

The "In the best traditions of Siberian Dance" venue (eastern side of Tatyshev Park) there will be a real Russian farmstead, a children's location with board games, as well as a photo exhibition with photo zones. Here, the organizers promise to arrange the biggest Siberian dance.

 

At 19.00 a rock concert will begin, where the groups “Ozone Layer”, “Ninth Region”, “IrishCream”, “Nice Guys”, “Galia”, “Second Wind” will perform.

 

On the western side of the Tatyshev Island there will be deployed dozens of youth-oriented sites. Guests of the holiday will be able to master the moves of the fiery zumba, attend workout lessons, the most active participants will be able to take part in a Kyokushin karate workshop. The organizers have prepared training sessions on hatha yoga and ashtanga yoga, art therapy classes, and psychological training. You can also play lotto or go shooting in a laser shooting range and even launch your own rocket.

 

Another spectacular event will be the DRD-Krasnoyarsk quadrocopter racing championship. The guests of the event will have a chance to go on an aerial excursion, where you can see the city from a bird's-eye view.

 

On the central glade of Tatyshev Park, the guests will enjoy many interactive sites: the huge jenga, an entertaining quiz and quest, launching colorful kites, a sand painting workshop, immersion in virtual reality, trampolines.

 

The fans of cyber sport will be able to participate in the CS:GO cyber sport championship.

 

The organizers have also prepared an extensive program for sports enthusiasts. Sports grounds will be mainly located in the central part of the western side of the island. One of the most spectacular events is the Strongmen of Siberia Festival. The guests will be able to see the strongest athletes moving cars, throwing stones weighing 160 kg over the crossbar, and carrying a weight of 350 kg on a yoke as far as 20 meters. There will be an Open City Championship in Parachute Jumping and Model Aircraft Sports. A mini-football tournament will be held among the sports and health clubs and courtyard teams at the football grounds, and an open city tournament in traditional and Japanese volleyball will also be held. Extreme show will be presented by “Sportex”: master classes and competitions in capoeira, trampoline freestyle, and tricking.

 

For the evening program of the holiday, the FMX 13 motor freestyle show with elements of fire show is scheduled.

 

Tatyshev lakes in the area of the Cable Bridge will host the competitions in surfing, demonstrations on jet skis, scooters and water bikes, competitions in rowing slalom, sports tourism and rafting.

 

A surprise gift to the audience will be an acrobatic performance - from 20.00 to 21.00, a tightrope walker will walk on the rope stretched between the supports of the Cable Bridge. The distance will be 155 meters. At this moment, the bridge will be lighted up with festive lights.

 

The media and their partners will also take an active part in the festival. TNT Channel will give the residents of Krasnoyarsk a master class from the stars of the Show “DANCES” - Alexander Pertsev and Valeria Babayan. Everyone will be able to try their dance skills with the finalists of the 5th season of the show. Local dance groups will dance together with Krasnoyarsk residents, and the best people-dancers will receive gifts. Afontovo TV Company organizes interactive playgrounds, Yenisei TV Channel - a meeting with the athletes of the basketball, volleyball, football and hockey clubs “Yenisei”. Channel 7 and Radio Silver Rain will present interesting photo zones, you can feel yourself as a radio presenter at the Russian Radio site. Choose a Radio organizes a photo zone with movie characters. Komsomolskaya Pravda will offer young guests to show how smart they are - to solve crossword puzzles, charades, to paint their favorite cartoon heroes. You can get an air gift from Rossiyskaya Gazeta, and Gorodskie Novosti newspaper will offer to draw pictures and take a photo on a swing in a special photo zone.

 

The colorful finish line of the celebration of the City Day will become fireworks. This is a gift to Krasnoyarsk from the Honorary Citizen of Krasnoyarsk Khazret Sovmen! The best places to watch the fireworks are the east side of the Tatyshev Island and the spot near the Shopping Center "June."

 

The working hours of buses passing through the Tatyshev Island will be extended to 23.30. For the convenience of the citizens after the end of the fireworks additional buses will be released on 8 bus routes.

 

We’d also like to recommend getting to the island by public transport. There will also be free shuttles going from the Aviator Shopping Center on the left bank and from the O’key Supermarket on the right bank.
