​On the eve of the Day of Local Self-Government, Governor Alexander Uss presented awards to distinguished employees of administrative bodies of cities and districts of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. During the solemn ceremony, 58 people received distinctions, diplomas and thanks from the Head of the region.

"Whatever our municipalities are remote or close, small or large, they demand dedication, high professionalism and great human qualities from each of you," the regional leader told the audience. "I'm sure I'm not wrong if I say that work at the municipality level is not just a work, but a kind of mission, destiny. Thank you for your patience, dedication, and for spending  years of your life serving people! "

Let us recall, the Day of Local Self-Government is a professional holiday for employees of municipalities, which is celebrated in Russia on April, 21. It was established by decree of  President of Russian Federation in 2012.

There are  570 municipalities in the Krasnoyarsk region at the moment. The leadership of the region pays special attention to the development of local self-government, strengthening its independence and authority.
