On April 4, 2019, the International Charity Festival “Children for сhildren - 2019” was held in the Big Concert Hall of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Philharmonic.

​The festival is organized by the Municipal Budgetary Educational Institution of Further Education “Center of Creativity No. 3” of the Kirovsky District of Krasnoyarsk, with the support of the Administration of Krasnoyarsk and the Krasnoyarsk Regional Philharmonic.

The theme of this year's festival is “MIRACLE”. There were about two thousand participants - creative teams of schools, institutions of supplementary and pre-school education not only from Krasnoyarsk but also from other cities of the region, as well as from foreign partner-cities of Krasnoyarsk.

The festival program included performances by creative groups, an exhibition of photo works, works in the style of decorative and applied art, as well as the opening of an art gallery of drawings, and, of course, various workshops and master classes.

The organizers and participants of the festival managed to create an atmosphere of mutual understanding and creativity. Leading children's groups of Krasnoyarsk, as well as the Valery Tereshkin Free Ballet troupe and students of the Krasnoyarsk Choreographic College performed at the concert.

At the festival this year Russia was represented by children from various children's educational institutions of such cities as Krasnoyarsk, Achinsk, Kansk, Sharypovo, Yeniseisk and Sosnovoborsk. Children from other countries: Slovakia, India, Japan, Uzbekistan also took part in the project. Also, the works, received last year from the United States, were finally exhibited this year.

“It is a great honour to be invited to such a wonderful event, organized by a great team, who were able to bring up their idea from a small spark of kindness in one school of our city to a global project that now involves thousands of children. I am extremely pleased that Krasnoyarsk had become the birthplace of the idea that special kids can not only be helped but can provide help themselves to those who need it. When people help somebody else, they seem to grow wings, and the festival “Children for children” gives such wings to all its participants,” said Natalia Firyulina, Chairman of the Krasnoyarsk City Council, in her welcoming address. On behalf of the deputies of the City Council and all Krasnoyarsk citizens, she thanked the author and founder of the project, Nikolai Maksimovich Bolsunovsky, and wished the city of Krasnoyarsk to become a symbol of kindness in the whole world.
